
Dr. Shaheen Kattiparambil is a sociologist and lecturer in the School of Sociology and Social Policy at the University of Leeds. His research is situated at the intersection of Critical Muslim Studies, postcolonial theory, and political sociology, with a particular focus on racialised governmentality, Islamophobia, and the coloniality of power in the Global South. His wider intellectual and activist commitments include engagements with Islamic political thought and movements, student mobilisations and global movements against racial and epistemic injustice.
